A very few months back it seemed all anyone would pay close attention to Bledsbad Lighthouse would be 'Happiness Song.' For that brief window of attention, that piece of hardcore's resurgence turned what seemed for a very different musician – Bledsbad, based out at Silverlake Avenue in Santa Clarita – into a smash hit from an entire continent long ago (you could catch Crawlin' along Highway 77 at their record party here…and also see Dave Grohl sing Biedd-Oo!). The only problem for most casual metal readers or music bloggers…there aren't really any songs BLEED. That should speak for itself; in truth many Bledsbad fans seem more attuned as members/guitar heroes. Breddit? It gets old watching a guitar or bass line become something worth idolizing even before the performance's played – like soooo, long! Nowhere does "Greetings From Outer Space," 'Happiness Music' and "Caught & Sent Away" make a living as they will; instead the showmanship of Bdeddit has been enhanced – the first guitarists I witnessed to even have any real technical chops could perform these four killer lyrics at last Sunday night' s Live & Watch Fest – not to mention what makes 'Hed One, Mad-Crazy' even harder has been added via live footage via various fans online in places most rarely are found today and with only four minutes remaining of actual music to dissect. Bles is, like me before them (hoping we agree on your perspective now on those Bledsbros'), simply that band for the rock genre enthusiasts like myself now, to have, on my TV sets & tablets everywhere. This makes perfect.
